Just try any of these home remedies when you have the time. Once a week, add two tablespoons flour to a cup of coconut. The mixture is applied and massaged to the scalp. Rinse your hair after five minutes. The power of mayonnaise cannot be outdone. Heat a half cup of mayo until the oils are produced.

Apply this to the hair without washing first. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave the mayo on for at least 15 minutes. Rinse the hair well after a shampoo. Bananas and avocados are also used for dry hair. Mash the two fruits and massage onto your hair. Cover the hair with a shower cap; leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing off.

Eggs are beaten and added to a cup of milk. Squeeze some lemon juice and add it to olive oil. Mix and massage this mixture to your hair then cover the hair with a warm towel. After an hour, rinse the hair with warm lime water.

Olive oil, almonds, and lavender oil are also home hair remedies for dry hair. The almonds are crushed and combined to the oils. The mixture is then heated for a short time then applied to your hair just like a conditioner. Then cover your hair with a shower cap, after half an hour, shampoo your hair.

These home remedies are all proven effective to bring back shine and luster to dry and dull hair.
